Founded by Peter Hewitt, an American product designer and a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Tea Forte includes a variety of green, white, black, oolong and herbal teas. Its single servings are packaged in ‘silken’ tea infusers shaped in a 3 dimensional pyramid design. Compared to traditional flat tea bags, Tea Forte’s 3D tea bag design allows for high quality whole leaf teas to be used. The tea leaves are also able to swell more successfully as it steeps enclosed in the unique design.
