The Lamps adhere to the child appealing luminaire (AS/NZS 60598-2-10) safety standard
The lamps feature a transformer at the plug to adhere to the safety standard, so they step down from 240V to 12V.
12V makes the lamps safer but also more environmentally friendly as the power draw is greatly reduced.
Please remember that the lamps are not at toy.
The Lamps take a small two pin 12v10w globe. They are readily available from hardware stores.
